Batman: The Joker

Hello hello everyone! Here I have something special for you. The Clown Prince of Crime himself, The Joker. He was my first favorite villain from my favorite super hero, Batman. He is, without a doubt, the best super hero of all time. I've liked the Batman series for as long as I can remember and lately, I've taken to rewatching some old animated series episodes, so I've gottten into the mood of drawing from it. And so here we have the Joker. And though I hate choosing favorites, he may just be my favorite villain of all time. At any rate he's at the top of my list of favorite characters. And so I figured it was about time that I paid homage to him with a little art.

The style's primarily based on the animated series version, amazingly voiced by Mark Hamill, may favorite of Joker portrayals in animation, Jack Nicholson being my live action fav. I'm not terribly fond of the way he's been portrayed in the new 'The Batman' series and I hope that Heath Ledger does a good job in the next movie 'The Dark Knight.'

As for the picture, there are still quite a few improvements to make to my style, but I really do like the way this one turned out. And I figued, what better background than a garish orange with light blue text. Just his style. And what a style it is.
