Bleachatar: The Awakening

LOL The Awakening?? Am I lame and unoriginal or WHAT?! Hahahah, but I couldn't help myself. I mean...Aang DOES awake in this too... I swear I didn't plan this. It just came to me just now

And so, my loyal Bleachatar fans, I gladly bring you the next issue in the epic saga! (A little over the top, you think?) And it is the longest to date, with 18 panels, beating the former record of 17! Woohoo! Crikey these are getting long... I'm sure you guys don't mind though

Been working on this for the past week I guess. It's going slower because of school but I finally got it done. And behold it's on the day of the new Avatar premiere! I swear I didn't plan it like that. I just realized yesterday that that was what was gonna happen So you Bleachatar fans get a bonus! New Avatar AND new Bleachatar. I know I can't measure up to the former, but that's OBVIOUS. Oh man, you KNOW I'll be watching that later...

But anway, time for our synopsis!

After his mask breaks off, Aang starts to fall. Katara, seeing this, rushes to him and catches him. She attempts to rouse his unconsious form. Then slowly, but surely, his eyes open and Katara comes into view, a relieved smile on her face. He mumbles her name, confused at what's happening. However she wastes no time in glomping him, much to his surprise. This, of course, gets him quite awake, and blushing at the sudden contact, assumes that something must be wrong, for such a sudden reaction, and so he asks about it. Katara, tells him that everything's fine, since he's back. However, this confuses Aang, so he asks what she's talking about. Katara, surprised by his response pulls back to talk to him and asks if he remembers what's been happening. He inexplicably is having a hard time remember what's been going on and seems to have no idea what's been going on through the entire course of this comic. He asks if he was, perhaps, knocked out. However, Katara, is wrestling with herself, whether she should tell him or not. She looks away from him, pained, as she knows Aang, and that he'll blame himself for what happened, though it wasn't really him. Her look startles Aang, so he again asks what's wrong, more convinced that something actually is. However, Katara makes a quick attempt to recover her composure and tells him that it's nothing and that they should get going, trying to avoid the subject, until she can figure out just how to tell him. However, her eyes suddenly widen in shock as a voice comes from behind Aang. Aang's eyes widen as well. He knows that voice. And behind him stands a bloodied, beaten, but not defeated, Azula-taichou.

That's right folks! In her first appearance since last December (WHOA long time!) is Azula-taichou! I certainly know one gentleman who's been waiting a very long time for her return. Maybe now he'll forgive me for my little Zutara prank. Here's hoping. And also, this one's full od Kataang-y goodness! X3

As for the panels, I like how they all turned out, particularly 9, 13, 15, 17, and 18. Azula-taichou's face in that last panel...turned out WAY better than I thought it would. I doth love it. And this whole comic.

I know I said last time that I'd try to get this one out soon, and it ended up being a longer wait I'm a baaaad S'rac... I will try to get the next one out relatively soon. Gotta keep up with school too. So busy Anyway, I hope you all like this!
