The wind blows through my hair as I rocket through the night sky. From below, kunai fly upward in a vain attempt to bring me to the ground, exploding notes bursting in the air all around. I feel it. That feel that single instant of pure artistic explosion flicker through my mind. I can't help but smile. As odd as it sounds, it's in moments like this that I truly feel...home...

Hey everyone! Here with another pic for ya! And it's about time I did another 'just Deidara' pic. It's been too too long since I posted one. This one's called Explosions In the Sky because it fits Deidara and it's also dedicated to one of my favorite bands, of the same name. Explosions In the Sky is one of the most amazing intrumental bands I've ever heard. Their music is great, profound, and inspiring. Very comtemplative stuff.

This pose was one, I originally got exactly perfect, but then didn't like how his nose looked, so I went about trying to redraw it with a better nose. Now I like the nose, but the angle I wanted is off. I wanted it to be a 'looking up' at him angle, but oh well. Got lost in translation I suppose. Oh well, I still really like how it came out. I suppose the feel I have for this pic is that Deidara's flying through the air, his clay creatures exploding all around him. Then, as no one else can understand, he feels comfort, truly at peace. That's what that first thing up there is. Just thought it up on the spot, so I know it's not terribly good. I mostly wrote it to set up that last line... I dunno, that's just what I felt. I know Deidara has amazing character depth. I can feel it. I just don't know if Kishimoto-sensei's going to show it TT_TT Someone so awesome deserves a backstory dang it!

Oh please Kishimoto-sensei, let Deidara survive this next battle. Or at least let him not die by the hands of PUNK-ske! ...That's supposed to be Sasuke, but with punk. It makes more sense said than it does written. -_-;;

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! ^_^

Wow! Deidara looks really good in this pic! (even with the wrong angled nose!) Say, did you ever notice that the explosions around Deidara look like giant stars?
