Ichimaru: Waltz To the Death

Hey all! Here again with more sanbantai-taichou-sama! His appearance in the dub is impending, so I guess it's sorta well-timed. Concerning the dub, I'm concerned about our taichou's voice. I dunno who's doing it, but I do know that Ichimaru speaks with a Kansai dialect, which is different than the normal Japanese you hear most of the time. Slight differences. But in anime dubs, people with Kansai accents pretty much ALWAYS translate here into "Southern Accent." ... Please please PLEASE let him not have a southern accent. Aaaaagh I'll weep in anguish if he does. It doens't fit him at all! Someone so awesome needs to have a fitting voice! Nothing against people with southern accents, but it's just not Ichimaru!

Agh ranted. ANYWAY, sketched this a few days ago. Wanted to draw him in a cool battle pose as well as him holding his sword sideways. Loved it when I drew it but it went off the page, so I tried redrawing it a couple of times and none of them turned out better. So I stuck with this one and, even if his whole arm isn't there, I love this pic! ^___^ Love the way it looks over all. Yeah, the energy effect could probably be better, but I like it how it is. Mixing old strategies and new. Not sure exactly where he is, because it doesn't look like the Hueco Mundo sky, but he's in his new clothes...hmm...I dunno. I'll leave it open for interpretation X3

Also, the title was taken from a track name to the Danny Elfman score of the original Batman movie, which is awesome (the movie and the soundtrack) I love that name and when I look at him, I guess it sorta does look like he's doing some kinda dance.

I'm quite pleased. I hope you all like it too! May his silvery voice remain silvery in english!
