Naruto: You Are My New Light

This is something I felt compelled to draw after hearing spoilers about the new chapter. And this picture here: [link] I never EVER thought I'd see Itachi with a face like that. That is some crazy stuff. I hardly even thought Itazula could bring a face like that to Itachi. But now we know most of why Itachi did all that he did. And I really find it intriguing. There's still more to find out, but it's all very interesting indeeed... *Drums fingers together* Definitely looking forward to more. Kishimoto's doing well... Just hope he keeps it up.

Itachi says the title of this picture in relation to Sasuke, because apparently he wanted Sasuke to get the Mangekyou Sharingan so he could eventually take his eyes. It seems Madara went blind from the Mangekyou Sharingan, but stole his brother's (who also had Mangekyou Sharingan) eyes and had rid himself of blindness. Now Itachi plans to do the same. So Sasuke is his "new light."

I like how it turned out. I like how Sasuke turned out better than Itachi. Maybe it's because Itachi looks so surreal with that expression... Also like how the background and speed lines look. Anyway, I drew this today and felt I had to color it. I hope you all enjoy it. I can't wait to actually see all of this chapter.
