NarutoxATLA: Talk of Earth

Hello all! Here's a picture I thought of a long long time ago. Inspired by the fact that both Toph and Deidara are both people who use earth or rocks. Toph's from the Earth Kingdom, Deidara's from the Country of Earth! The similarities go on. You know me.

And so, for some reason or another, Toph really wants to explain Earthbending to Deidara, probably because she's eager to prove that it's superior to Doton, but Deidara's been refusing to hear her explanation. However, at the point where the picture is, she's finally pestered him enough that he's caved in. And so, he asks, begrudgingly, "What is Earthbending?" Then she replies, as if he really wanted to know, "Why Deidara, I'm glad you asked!" Ah man this amuses me.

I really like the way the both of them came out. The background is bleh because I didn't really want one, but I didn't just want a white background either, so there's a big rocky mountain and some clouds -_-;

I was drawing a bunch of Tokka stuff last night and then I suddenly redrew this old sketch and decided to color it today. I like it and I hope you all do too! ^_^
