Ryouga: RANMAAAA

Uh-oh! It looks like either A) Ranma said something bad about Akane or B) Ranma ruined Ryouga's life...again.

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been so long without any new pics up. I've been working on the new Bleachatar comic and it's coming along slower than usual with school and all. And since it is, I wanted to do a pic to help with the wait. I know, some of you are probably thinking, "Forget anything else S'rac! Get me that new BLEACHATAR!! *cracks whip*" Aaaahaha yeah. Sorry it's been taking so long. The way it looks, it's either going to be a long strip, or I'll end up splitting it into two seperate ones. We've have to see how it goes. Which one do you think you'd like better? Longer strip, longer wait, or shorter strip, shorter wait?

Aaaanyway, back to this picture! For some reason or another, I've been watching some Ranma again for the first time in a long while. It's always been one of my favorite mangas and it was the first I went about collecting. I'm still convinced that it's one of the greatest ever. And Ryouga's one of my favorite characters. It always seems to be a toss-up between him and Kunou. It usually depends on the episode I'm watching. He's a great character and I always feel sorry for him. For those of you who don't know much about Ranma, Ryouga has an Aang-like crush on Akane, who is engaged to Ranma (against their will. It's a thing with the parents and all that. So they have to deal with it.)

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ALL OF RANMA

I feel so sorry for the guy, because, unlike Aang, Ryouga's not the main character, so it's pretty much a sure thing that he won't end up with Akane *sighs* I've read all the manga and I know how it all happens and...I dunno, I never really liked Akari. She's Mary-Sue-ish and it really seemed to belittle Ryouga's love for Akane. It's a part of the manga I never really liked. It's rare for me to not like something in Ranma. But, I guess Rumiko Takahashi wanted Ryouga to be happy but not to end up with Akane, so I guess it's better than nothing.

But anyway, Ryouga's always mad at Ranma for something. Usually for ruining his life in some way, or insulting Akane. Ranma tends to insult Akane a lot more than he ruins Ryouga's life, which is mostly either accidental or a misunderstanding. But the entire Ranma 1/2 cast does little more than misunderstand everyone else, which always leads to crazy antics XD Hahahah I love it.

And so here's Ryouga, yelling at Ranma for something or other.

I really like how this turned out, and I hope you all do too, whether you know Ranma 1/2 or not. And if you don't, check it out! It's A-mazing!
