Tokka 100 - 80 - School

Hey there everyone!

Here, finally, with my entry for the Tokka contest. The theme is "school." And there's a school theme, so I decided to make it part of the Tokka 100, which I haven't done a pic for in faaar too long. So I figure, "Hey! I'll take down two birds with one stone!"

I had this idea for a while, since a little after the contest was announced. I kept trying to come up with a better one but...nothing hit me. So I went ahead with this. Took me a while to decide if I was really going to go with this idea, thus why I'm entering the contest so late in the running.

Figured I'd take a little more specific route with the school topic and focused on one particular class. Gym. I could just see Sokka claiming to be the "King" of some game or another, then Toph coming in and absolutely pwning him at it. Cuz she lubs him Hahah, so here's that idea come to life.

EXPLANATION: Sokka comes into the gym, stretching and proclaiming himself, "The Dodgeball King." Then a voice comes from behind. And so it's Toph, revealing that in truth, she beats him every time Sokka gets a sinking feeling in his stomach, since he knows what's coming now. Toph, on the other hand, ponders that then SHE must be, "The Dodgeball Queen," which would make her married to Sokka X3 Sokka thinks maybe that's moving a little bit fast, but Toph pays no heed and decides to begin the game, whether Sokka wants to or not and tells him to "DANCE FOR IT!" Sokka replies in kind, with a yell of panic.

Hahah I do like how this turned out. I think panel 5 has to be my favorite. Sokka looks just like I wanted him too. Also like panel 1 as well as 4, particularly. And yes, they're wearing gym clothes. Those dull t-shirts that are never the right size and always feel weird. You know the ones.

I was so tempted to have Sokka going, "EEEEE!!" in the last panel...but I just couldn't make his scream that girly Forgive me.

So yes, Toph shows her love with picking on Sokka. Hahah it's awesome.

Anyway, I hope you all like this and good luck to the other contest entrants! All the entries I've seen are amazing! It's really anyone's contest. I've no idea who will win. Excellent work everyone! ^___^
